It will be amazing . We had the 156 GT for three years and have now had the R for a month , it's everything we expected and more .If you don't like the R , doubt there will be a car in this class that will !There is never a day that goes by that it does not put a smile on our face.

If you don't expect it cooking your meal or mow the lawn, you won't be :)

I'm loving the car completely. The ride is very well judged and firm not crashy. The steering and gearshift are deliciously mechanical. It looks great, whilst the adaptive bi xenons are some of the best I have ever come across. However one week in, and I have noticed the stitching dramatically coming apart and revealing the inner foam on the driver seat shoulder. Mine has done under 7k, and I'm only 11 stone. Anyone else had seats coming apart? I must admit Robins and Day Peugeot Walton on Thames were really efficient and pleasant booking me in for Monday.

Isn't that where the airbag is?

No problems with the R seats on my over 25.000miles RCZ R either. They still look like new and I enter&exit the car multiple times a day.

It's about an inch and a smidgen long where the stitching is coming apart, where the shoulder wing meats the seat side. I must admit, Peugeot Walton on Thames have been really efficient in arranging my booking. The other thing I have noticed is after 600 miles or so in the last week and a half the brakes are really squeaky. Thinking it may be a build up of dust or film I gave them a few good hard stops, but that doesn't seem to have cured it either. They're investigating this on Monday too. Once they're sorted I look forward to just enjoying the car for all its other brilliant points.

I know some of the R's have had their pads changed under a notice from Peugeot, haven't had chance to find the thread, but might be worth mentioning when it goes in :eusa-think:
