Come on boys & girls you got to get rid of the orange from the front lights, I done mine and its a bit of a "Doh !" moment "why did I not do that before ?

From the front lights? Not sure I'm entirely certain what you're referring to? Did you tint/smoke you lights?

No swapped the normal amber bulbs for the ones that are silver, until they are on, then they are amber. But the whole lamp unit now looks silver. I will post a pix.

The dolphin blue is real nice colour. When all polished up it gleams in daytime sunshine. Then at night it looks dark and glossy under the street lamps. I love it

My dolphin is in getting her feline kit fitted today...will post some quick snaps of her when she emerges in her new dolphat form. Did make a request that they didn't wash her at the dealership...the lady that served me looked at me like I had placed a baby on a spike at the request but if I get there and discover the car washed then a spiked baby may well be what she receives...

My excitement was palpable!! I am loving the quads  :D but am pretty disappointed at the efforts of my dealership to cut the rear valance. It looks like they attempted to do it using a penknife!!  :( :x :x it's only really noticeable if you get down on your knees and have a look at it but it's really bug it good enough! They also didn't fully fit the grille and have not fitted the upper part of the mesh as they "weren't certain" if I wanted it on.  I wanted to yell "There's an amazing device called a telephone...you can speak to people even if they aren't there in person. It's particularly useful if you're want to speak to a customer...!!!" So...lay car has to go BACK AGAIN at the end of the month for them to fit the grille. Tried to speak with a member of the service dept to raise my discontent at their butchery of the rear valance but they appear to be dodging me. They can run but they can't hide!!!! :x

Anyway, I am pretty stoked with having the feline kit and cannot wait to get the job completed to a satisfactory degree...although.. although does this mean that my dolphin will be a fishy pussy...?! (waiting for my RCZ shaped yellow card now...)

Oh...and just when I thought my RCZ you bring up the Alcantra wheel...arse..I was forgetting about that!! The standard one looks like they borrowed it from an HGV..it's a battle to get my legs under it unless the seat is as low as it will go!! So...next up...the steering wheel. Wonder if I can sneak that one in without the missus noticing?! :eusa-think:

I love Jassy's tints, in fact I've enquired about having it done but was a little put out when the fella said it was illegal :eusa-think:

However, I may still go ahead
My son is having his Astra done Monday so I will see how that turns out then decide.

Is the Law different in Scotland to the rest of the UK regarding tints ?
Apparantly the law states that a tint can only block out 30% light.
How do insurance companies look at this ?
