Pre Yorkshire Meet Detail

Today I spend many hours detailing my car in advance of the Yorkshire meet this weekend! Now, I am a total amateur and I don't have access to many of the tools, snow foams and power hoses that some of you do but for the time spent at it, I was quite pleased with the outcome. I tend to use Autoglym products and they are fine for what I use them for! My car does suffer from the dreaded swirls but I think the Pearlescent paint kind of hides them somewhat. Also, cleaned the engine bay, bootlid and spoiler. Anyway here's a few photos I took with camera phone. May invest in a better camera sometime!

Probably not but I hope that the hard work put in today means that a quick wash on sat morning will have it in tip top condition! Tis nice to see the sunshine alright

I have a sister in Leicestershire so I am going to visit her aswell and take a few days holiday!!

Time: 7 hr 38 min

Providing my car stays in the pub carpark on Saturday ... might be running on fumes by the time I get home!!!

Seriously though, probably refuel in Edinburgh on the way home....
