Hi Guys
Is it just me being a worry wort?
I called the Peugeot dealer on Wednesday, he said my car will be at their dealership that afternoon and will probably be ok to collect on Saturday, he will call me later to confirm. Has he called... No. I called him, he was busy on the other phone, so i was told he would call me back. Has he... No! So now i'm thinking there's a problem or its not ready for me to collect on Sat (05/04/14) etc. Why don't these guys just communicate with us buyers all the way until we drive away in the thing. Tell us what is happening every step of the way. I'm like a guy expecting his first born here. I have no nails left. Sorry just venting. Did any of you go/are going through the same thing?

Thanks for your ears.

have a look through some of my posts... Peugeot Dealers are pretty much pants.

Most dealerships are pants, not just Peugeot.

Anyways Dencole, I reckon that you are getting your nickers in a twist for nowt. You are the only person to think that there is a problem, and that is based upon some geezer with bad manners and zero empathy. Enjoy the collection tomorrow.

My 508 was bought from a Wiltshire Peugeot Dealer who gave me the best customer service I've had from any brand. My new RCZ has come from someone who did me an excellent deal, but took 3 attempts to give me even a handbook for the car!

I would keep harassing them until you speak to your dealer or if you can call in. If they haven't told you it's here and ready for collection tomorrow then I would be very suspicious and wouldn't be expecting the car to be ready? How do you know what time to go and collect the car ? You can't just turn up. Keep pestering !!!!! Good luck :)

Thanks guys, I feel better now.
The latest is... I did call them back and managed to talk to the seller i have been dealing with. At first he seemed to have forgotten who i was but then it came to him. I will be going to the dealership on Sat 5th April but just to take proof of who i am, passport, both parts of my driving license etc. Although my RCZ will be there and i can even test drive it, i can't take it until Tuesday the 8th. In all fairness he did say from the outset that it may not be ready to collect until Thursday 10th so i am actually getting it two days early. Guys I'm almost there, almost a member of this family.

Someone's not going to sleep much these next few days and nights ;-) keep yourself occupied until collection time in the hope that it helps warp time

Enjoy the smiles and miles.
Keep safe and keep detailing.

Hi Gents

Saw my RCZ today, it looked even better then in the pictures i googled. Up close and in it, can't believe I've got one.

Even if you're not a poser, I bet you can't help but feel like one in this car.

Actually i'm sleeping fine just because it gets the next day here quicker. Boy, this weekend is going slow. I'll collect on Tuesday if my job will let me have the day off or half a day, fingers crossed. Soon guys soon!!

I have nothing but good things to say about my dealership in Coimbra.
They really couldn't be any better.
Examples of this is are - because I can't solve my condensation problem in one the rear
lights and the car is now out of warranty - they have offered me a 30% discount.
The 1st time I went there they gave me a courtesy car for the day for nothing.
The second time as it was a shorter job they dropped me off at the shopping Mall (4 miles away) and collected me 2 hours later.
Perhaps they are just too busy in the UK to give the service they can here.
