Maybe I'll ask to have my rusty ones replaced and pay them to paint them at same time. Cheers.

This is crazy you shouldn't have to pay or do it yourself this is a job for Peugeot to do under warrant

I'm still wishing for faults to occur
Only one so far is my front side light where the bulb had blown.

I just know, with my luck, that all these many various issues / faults / problems / challenges / annoyances / call them what you want, will happen to my car one day after I've come out of warranty.

Then it'll be up for Part Ex - with the Scrap Dealer

;)

Like hens cackling bout nothing. You have warranty for three years, any problems are rectified. If you are intending to keep your z longer than that, take out extended warranty. Enjoy your z.

So the RCZ really dose have big problems, when I buy a new car I don't want any problems at all, you all seem to have loads of problems but say its ok I have a 3 year warranty then I'll buy a extended warranty are you all stupid? There is no way I'm going to put up with that.

DONT BUY ONE THEN "SIMPLES" ;)

.....take out extended warranty.

Hmmm, interested in the sound of this.
Anyone have any details i.e. is it taken out annually or is it for a fixed period of say 2 or 3 years; is it through Peugeot or the Dealership; How much is it; etc.

Thanks.

Yes from Peugeot, they quoted £500 for 2 x years. I did not look into it any further as I had not had a problem with a Peugeot before(over 20 + years) it did not let me down in the fourth year. I then dealt it in on the z reliable oil burner with the best residuals.

Warrantydirect.co.uk and warrantywise.co.uk both do highly rated extended warranty cover. This can be for a period between 1-3 years paid monthly or in advance. The former covers normal wear and tear as well as irregular wear and tear. It also covers the repair of anything that has caused an MOT failure. The price depends on the model and an agreed annual mileage. I don't think you'd be able to buy covet until your current warranty is in the final year though. If anyone knows or can advise differently then please jump in.

Can you buy it later into ownership from Peugeot though?

Thanks for that jassyo06 that's really helpful, I was hoping that someone mite say its a good car but what your saying is if you want a reliable car don't buy a RCZ

I think it was intended more tongue in cheek than that Skidz. You're covered under warranty for at least three years. You are more than likely to enjoy a number of trouble free years of driving but, failing that, you have the security of this warranty. With any car there is a risk that you might "come a cropper to a duffer" and the RCZ is no different. However, spend some time on ANY other car forum dedicated to a particular model from ANY manufacturer and you will discover a litany of potential issues and owners that have been dissatisfied by their experiences.

Have you ever suffered any technical difficulties with your RCZ?

I have to say that I detest this thread. The poll is a total nonsensical one. Surely there are people like myself, who believe that things in life do go wrong. I prefer to make a judgement upon how those things are corrected/put right.

So what if you have suffered a technical difficulty? Was it a minor niggle, a massive problem or a out and out disaster? Is it still a problem or was it resolved by helpful polite people?
How do you think things would have been any different with a different marque or model?

The whole damn thread is an unnecessary slur on a damn fine car. So there ya go, that is my take. If my post proves too unpopular then I shall keep my views to myself and bid all a fond farewell.

My last point would be that if you have bought something that does not meet your needs or expectations then do something productive about it. Like maybe change it for something that satisfy's you more.
