Hi guys having an issue with playing music from my phone through the USB in my car. Its got the sat nav so there is no aux its just a USB and I'm pretty sure Bluetooth doesn't do the music its just for calls. Anyone had this issue? Anyone got a fix?

What year and model do you have? If it’s the MkII there is an aux socket in the centre console where the usb socket is.
Depending on the head unit, If it’s the RT6 then Bluetooth does music, contacts, calls etc.

I had a NG4 unit on my R.
But I only used USB drives to play music. Put the USB drive into it, no matter what size that USB drive has. I had a 128 GB in my R. Plays music.
Do you connect your phone (android or apple?) to the USB port and then what? You start a music app on your phone?
