Good News :
I've just had an email off Peugeot offering me a pair of complimentary tickets worth over £200 for a track day event in Bedford and put the new 208 Gti through its paces on the track or be a VIP guest at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where they will be showing off the RCZ R.

Bad News :
Away on both sets of dates

Like just sucks sometimes

Went for the VIP Goodwood tickets, so it looks like my works may be getting a sickie phone call

What day you going jactac?

Friday 12th July I think but it has to be confirmed
I won't be bumping into you in that case

It was a choice of Friday, Saturday or Sunday, but I picked Friday because I may have a better chance of booking it off from work .
I'm still trying to find out what's included in these VIP complimentary tickets that Peugeot have offered. Obviously it allows entry, and for 2, but I think it also includes all areas pass's, parking and lunch, :eusa-think:

I've heard from someone in work that parking is extortionate there,

Parking is free, unless the RCZ is classed as a supercar, in which case it will cost you £50, £60 or more :)

Ah I see, so that's what my work colleague must of meant :eusa-think:

Have you also had the email offering complementary VIP tickets from Peugeot .

Apparently we receive them by post after you tell them your date option . Do you know what is included in these tickets ?

How was the vip day? Did thy treat you well?

Well Furry, bit of a long story but I will try to cut it right back, basically, I could not go as the wife was taken into hospital Thursday afternoon with suspected ruptured appendix, went in at 2pm and was still waiting to see surgeon at 12.50am Friday morning, she was then kept in and is still there but looks like they may not need to operate, could now be gall stones or infected gall bladder.

I dont know what happened in and around Swansea last Thursday but Morriston hospital in Swansea was carnage, we waited 2 hours for an ambulance, luckily whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive to our home the fast response car arrived and he stayed with us. We then had another hour and half in the back of the ambulance outside the hospital before they could admit the wife into admissions, then a further 7 or 8 hours before going onto a ward. Dont get me wrong, all of the hospital and ambulance crews were awesome, but there's definitely something wrong with the system for patient's to be held in a queuing system like this.

Anyway, Goodwood, my son could of gone to instead but as the wife was pretty poor on the Thursday evening he wanted to stay put, understandable I guess.

I was so looking forward to going, especially as I had been offered the free tickets, I don't normally get anything for free.
So I will now have to wait and see the pics that others upload .
Looking at the tickets I think they may of been complimentary admission tickets as opposed to the VIP tickets that all the correspondence from Peugeot mentioned, there's nothing on them stating VIP guest, but I was still grateful for having them, just a shame I didn't get to use them.
