Has anyone else thought about what they will do when they eventually run out of numbers? For example, the 107 is now the 108, then it will be the 109, then the what - can't be the 110 as Pug's are known to have a '0' in the middle....?

They have already decided about that: they will stick with the final number.
This did already happen for the current 308, which would normally have been 309 but we've had that already so they decided to stick with the number instead of increasing the final digit.
Pretty sure there's been an official press statement about this.
