Personal registration

Hi All

Does anyone know how long it takes for a personal reg to come through once it has been purchased from DVLA and how long I should allow the dealer to put the plates on the car?

Hi,

I ordered a personal reg from DVLA online on a Saturday and the docs came through on the following Wednesday.

Don't know about how long it takes for the dealer to put the plates on the car - I'm still waiting for it to be delivered!
It shouldn't take long for a newly registered car though - providing they've got the docs and you've signed them, I would have thought that it would take the same time as a normal registration.

Thanks for that - it seems quite quick then.

Still waiting for mine too but have been given a build date of 1st September so hope this has not changed.
