Pcv valve

Hi all

I want to change my pcv valve but do I need to change the whole rocker cover. My car a 2010 200 bhp looks like it has a separate cover that comes off. I haven't tried to take it off yet as I dont want break it. Any suggestions please

I think you can get a service kit for the mini coopers but I have also heard but I could be wrong that Peugeot only do a full cover replacement for this issue although I think I saw posts on another site whereby they talked about removing the pipe etc to get the valve out one thing I do know is the valve will only fit one way as its bigger at one end now whether that's the end inside the cover is one to watch out for as it could be the reason they recommend replacing the whole rocker cover?
You might have to do some research to see if its possibly a DIY job
