I'll have a guess, you used P1 on the arches using a dual action polishing machine, during which you removed a small layer?

Were your paint readings of the arches, similar to mine? ie highest on the upper most part around 50 ums going down to around 20 ums on the lowest areas going towards the front and back of the arches ?
When you say slow - what speed?

Hello gatt, a bottle of gtechniq p1 on a da with a black finishing pad at speed 2 on my da (don't know rpm)

My paint readings were about the same, highest was 56 from what I can remember and 22 was the lowest!
It varied so much tho! Kept stopping every 5 passes!
