P0087 fault code

Hi guys is this fault code HPF pump or a sensor and does anyone know of a recall on this i have a 2010 156 with 60k thanks in advance

You'd probably get nowhere on a car that age.
Besides, I'm sure they're not that expensive.
Whether or not you'd fancy doing it yourself is another matter.

Do you have an obd dongle? If so, you can read the fuel rail pressure at various driving conditions to determine what's going on.

In my case, P0087 fault code meant new HP fuel pump (at around 80k km / 50k miles). Since this is pretty common issue and usually happens before 100k km, i think you will need new HP fuel pump :eusa-whistle:
