Hi
I’ve got a 2014 rcz thp 200, beauty of a car , when you start from cold it throws the p0087 error , if you run for a few mins , erase code, re start , it runs absolutely fine and doesn’t come back on until it’s cold , is this a sure sign of hpfp failure? I’ve had a look and that part looks very clean like it may have been replaced already , unless they always look clean
Thanks

It does sound like the HPFP.

There is a seller on eBay that refurbishes the pumps for around £150.

If you're erasing the code, you have a fault code reader?

Apps like car scanner show the fuel pressure.

Yes classic sign of hpfp failing, it’s on its way out, yes they look shiny and new, it’s the coating on the exterior,
as already said remove it and send it off for refurb.
