As Tomc says, it's built on behalf of Peugeot by a company that manufactures cars for several car makers (BMW, Aston Martin etc). The petrol engine was jointly developed with BMW but can trace most of it's genesis from previous Peugeot engines. It's codename is Prince, and if memory serves BMW's contribution was mostly the variable valve timing system.

Isnt built by Peugeot? Youve lost me now?
By that he means that the RCZ is actually built by Magna Steyr AG in Graz, Austria rather than at any PSA Peugeot Citroen factory.

Ive got a 306 hdi as my daily, I cant have nothing nice as it gets ruined at my work  great little workhorse though

Ive had a good few in the past, perhaps my favourite was my old 206 GTI, I had it from almost new then owned it for 6 years, great car, it never let me down once, and it got a bit of track use :eusa-whistle:

sold that to buy my 180, again it was a great car, had it for 4 years and it had only done 22k when I sold it.

and just sold this to buy the Z,

but this has to be my favourite in the family at the moment, the Z isn't even close :eusa-whistle:

I'm picking up a second hand - dont laugh - Bipper Tepee tomorrow!
Excuses follow:
My eldest granddaughter is too big for the back of the RCZ,
My daughter needs a car for work, and we will be sharing this one
We need something to shift cr@p in between home and the allotment.

On the test drive I noticed that the Bipper didn't quite have the acceleration of the RCZ.......

I've had a few pugs,

'97 106 xs stripped with cage etc running a 1.6 8valve,1.3 rally's inlet and gearbox.

,99 106 quicksilver stripped with cage etc running 16v out of gti,cat cams etc.

'01 106 gti which was standard apart from de-cat and filter and lowered.

'07 207 xs sport turbo which was mapped, dump valve,filter,de-cat lowered.

Had loads more cars in between these, as well as the cars I've got now along with rcz.
