We picked it up last Saturday. 9Kish Miles 61 Plate HDi GT.

Brought from Spire Hatfield on a whim.

Without a doubt the most beautiful car we've owned! And rare too, the only one for miles around.

A few very small faults and problems that we'll be asking all you lovely people about soon.

But for now, we're just delighted to become the latest members of this exclusive club!

It does look good. However I have seen the results of their valeting and was not very impressed, that said, from this picture yours looks fantastic. The HDi really is an impressive engine

Nice - low miles for a HDI! Vision pack as well so a nice spec! Congrats!

What faults are these you mention? Groaning mirrors?

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

@dand87 How could you tell it has a vision pack from that picture? What gives it away?

Incidentally, you're quite right - and it's got the JBL speaker upgrade too.

As far as faults are concerned

  • Fuel cap doesn't lock
  • Door mirrors don't tilt down
  • Can't turn off Traffic Announcements (think I might have fixed this one tho)

I think that the first two should be covered under the warranty (has 18 months to go)

Also, only worked out that the stereo allows you to play DVDs earlier today. How cool is that?

Your lights are rounded and I can tell it has the pop up sprays due to the rectangular bit under the lights.

Can't help you with the fuel cap. Radio TA should be in the manual. The mirrors don't tilt down? when you are in reverse or at all? When in reverse, make sure the mirror switch is flicked to the left or right then try. Make sure it's been set too - when in reverse, adjust either mirror to where you want it to be when in reverse, then disengage reverse and it should set it and will remember when you next engage reverse.

Welcome, enjoy ownership of the best looking, reasonably priced, car on the road.

I am going to check my fuel cap. I have never tried to open it when the car is locked!

Cheers.

Me neither, I was puzzled by what he meant it doesn't lock. You may have answered that

When I got mine it had the same problem.
It simply was missing the latch of the cap that the lock pin goes into.
They put a new cap on and it was fixed.

Welcome to the forum! I'm just up the road in Hemel so you may see me whizzing about! I went to spire in Hatfield but Leroy was far too pushy and wouldn't give me a decent discount!! Went to Palmers instead

Congratulations and welcome to the forums! Your Z looks sweet.

On a side note though.... a 61 plate with 9k miles on it? Who are these people that buy RCZ's and don't drive them? With 9k miles on it they have basically just warmed it up for you :wtf:
