you mean the 308cc

that is true the 308cc is very similar to the RCZ but the rear ends are not comparable and if the RCZ is a cloth roof system as well it will be more unique.

or even I prefer this idea making it just a 2 seater and make the rear seats where the roof goes so you maintain the large boot and a not bad weight distribution

**EDIT**

Ok HP12PRO a speedster.

woudlnt say no to that but i would be shocked if it looked like that.

I say more if you mixed an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster (the roof style and what they did with the rear space) with the RCZ then it would be a winner

well,, no one thought that the rcz would go into production,, and if it did,,, that it would look no where near as good as the concept

the only thing is though the RCZ concept was realistic the RS1 does look a bit out there and expect it to be really turned down to the concept in my opinion

Well im glued to Autocar,Autoexpress for the revamp news,i just hope Peugeot decide on L.E.D lights up front and rear and a very small change to the front end otherwise perfect

Can you imagine if they place the 2.2 204bhp oil burner in as well,in time Superchips could supply a suitable remap (bluefin) and take it to 240bhp   now we are taking,as i also keep hinting expect a 210bhp on the THP petrol.

I reckon they will bring out a convertible or special edition with the facelift, then put the facelift on the normal car after.Thats how some manufacturers do it

Wait for Tokyo motor show December, see if Peugeot show us a revamp model,or probably Paris whenever tht is something must come to light on either one :eusa-think:

If purchasing a new RCZ now get the maximum discount, dont listen to the crap any saleperson will land you with they all know of this supposed change or revamp but they are as confused as we the punters are,but common sense prevails i think and something is on the way

One example i will give you i own a RCZ sport 200THP in charcoal,if looking for similar i would expect a £500 to possibly £580 discount on the current model,if the dealer tell's you they are not discounting just walk out

Whats your source on possible facelifts as you seem to have more info on the rcz's future than the guy at peugeot who is in charge of the rcz programme.......?

For your info sales execs arent "talking crap" the only future model developments the dealer network have been told of is the Asphalt and that at some future point the petrol engines will be tweaked to give even lower co2 figures.

Marcus

Sorry marcus,

im really not having a go at yourself, but as i explained on the other topic,if sales persons perhaps sing off the same hymnsheet it would give us all prospective 2012 buyers more confidence :eusa-think:

What i have seen and heard others on the forum is actual visit's to Peugeot dealers and cetain sales stating that there are changes on the 2012 year model, where does this leave genuine punters like myself who wish to progress with a better improved RCZ
Honda (uk) use some part's from same supplier even comments are being made there :wtf:yes i agree all rumours but add's that horrid fuel to fire which by now is an inferno.

if you are saying that the sales guy for the UK programme is not aware of these assumed changes for 2012,that gives us more confidence, and anyone who orders the current shape will not be disappointed and we can all breathe a sign of relief and i can be happy in the thought that my current RCZ will remain the same for the next 12 months or so without the assumed new front end and other quality issues raised :eusa-think:

Then i hope for all concerned these comment's don't come back to haunt us during any time over the next twelve month callender

Thanks Marcus
