To be honest with you cheesy99, I haven't got the faintest idea as my diesel has never even coughed. A call to your dealer in the morning or to Peugeot Assistance if you need your car sooner than that.

How very odd!! I'm sorry that I can't shed any light on it or offer more consolation. Hopefully it'll be easily rectified. Let us know what they say!

I would simply hate that. I'd be so much happier had it not started and then they found a simple reason for it. I really do hope as others have said that it is a one off. If it helps you are the first to the best of my knowledge to report such a fault, so you may be okay.

Some times this happens on my car too! But if you take key out put your foot on clutch and break it starts!

Once is bad enough but you can't continue putting up with that. Let us know how you get on at the dealer.

Not a good start to your RCZ ownership is it? Hopefully the dealer will resolve your problem quickly and you can start to enjoy your new toy :)

I'm sure that they will and then as RCZ1 has said "you can then start to enjoy your new toy" and with renewed confidence.
