Oil leak from head gasket? How? The engine would have to spit oil like kuwait oil fields during 1990 to make the engine oil wet.
I assume they meant the valve cover gasket. When properly swapped and installed, it should fix the problem for another 60-70k miles.

Hi. I was just reading this and thought i would add my oil leak issue. So recently i noticed a puddle of oil on my driveway. I left the car in to a local garage and they changed the Rocker Cover Gasket. I picked the car up and next day noticed another puddle of oil on my driveway so obviously not the Rocker Gasket. I took the car back to the garage where they cleaned underneath and let the car idle up on the ramp and no leak at all and he checked all the usual areas including timing chain tensioner etc so i thought happy days. Oh no !!!!!! When i drove the car to work and back thinking everything was ok i noticed oil again on the inside of the osf wheel and it was very wet there. It looks like the oil is getting onto the driveshaft and covering the os of the engine bay ie chassis leg, driveshaft etc. What is going on with my car? It only leaks when driven and not at idle. I need help with this as i am considering just trading it in which would be a shame as i love the car and have spent £620 so far including a wheel refurb which i now regret. Any ideas anyone please??????? Thanks in advance.
