Oil change after 1 year and 1000 miles?

Yes I know, yet another oil question...

2015 156 thp. Last oil change a year ago. Only 1k miles done and its been in storage since November. Had it running up to temp every 6 weeks or so. Running the total ineos 0/30.

Car on 34k miles.

Question is, should I change the oil or OK to leave it another year and likely another 1000 miles?

Not fussed about doing it but similarly don't need to throw money away unnecessarily...

My car only did just over 600 miles from mot to mot and had it serviced and checked over asto keep it in tip top condition. And keep service records up to date

It depends on how these 1000 miles have been driven. If only in city driving or for picking up the sunday coffee at a distance of 5 miles (means, engine never got warmed up) then I'd change the oil.
But if driven properly on B roads with the engine all warmed up, I wouldn't. The oil will be fine.

Mostly 7 mile commutes each way on country B roads. Temp gauge hits normal by destination end! Odd longer journey of around 50 miles a day. No stop start or city.....

Oil degenerates inside all modern car engines if they are not being used on a regular basis culprits to cause this is condensates & acidic build up & sludge looking like custard in the cylinder head if you remove the oil cap I suggest you get it hot then give it a periodic walloping to blow out all the nasties hiding inside your engine do it the world of good otherwise you will need to change the oil more often than is required

Mine did 320 miles between MOT’s last time & possibly less this time. I have it serviced every year.

The Prince engine is a fickle thing & new oil & filter is considerably cheaper than a new engine.

Although given the cost of that Total oil it can't be far off
