World known for performance brakes, Brembo now offers a system for the RCZ.

This was inspired by the making of the Arlen Ness RCZ show car.

Grand Turismo Brake System (GT)

Brembo is a world leader in the engineering, development and production of high-performance braking systems and components for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. For over 30 years, Brembo has equipped the cars and bikes of the world's permier drivers and riders to win more motorsports championships than any other company. Brembo also produces original equipment braking systems for some of the top vehicle makers in the world. Now they have produced a brake system for the RCZ.

The Gran Turismo system's level of technology and performance is unrivaled by any other product on the market. By utilizing larger calipers and discs, thermal capacity and brake torque is increased. Known as a big brake system, installing this on your RCZ will definitely change how you brake. The features of the GT system for the RCZ:

- 4 piston calipers featuring Lightweight Monobloc 1 Piece Aluminium Alloy Body, Quick Release Pad System, Sequentially Sized Pistons, Radial Mount Design, and Caliper colour choices of Black, Red, Silver or Yellow
- Two-piece "floating" hat and rotor assemblies reduce unsprung and rotation weight and dissipate heat faster
- Drilled or Slotted two piece discs
- 365mm x 29mm discs
- Stainless steel braided brake lines (TUV approved)
- High performance brake pads
- "Floating" anti-rattle disc hardware
- Billet caliper mounting brackets
- Fully compatible with ABS and traction control systems
- All necessary hardware included

Brembo's GT system for the Peugeot RCZ is a front brake system only, a rear brake system from Brembo is not available. It is only available for THP200 RCZ's with 19"wheels.

Brembo Brake Fluid

With any addition of big brakes to any car, such as the Brembo GT system on the RCZ, replacing the brake fluid is also recommended.

RCZ Performance offers three types of Brembo's brake fluid for you to choose from:

Evo 500+
Fast Road, Light Track use

LCF 600
Track / Race use

HTC 64
Ultimate Race Fluid

Each of these have higher boiling points than factory brake fluid. Remember you will need to bleed your brakes when installing any new calipers. If you plan on staying with the factory brake fluid, make sure you have some available to you. Or you can choose to replace the fluid with one of the Brembo products. If you do you will need to bleed the entire system completely to avoid cross-contamination. RCZ Performance will always recommend to replace your cars brake fluid on a regular basis to maintain the highest level of braking possible, as brake fluid does over time break down and moisture gets into the lines. The RCZ uses approximately 1.5 litres of brake fluid, so please take note of this when ordering.

Why only for the THP200?

Some HDi's have the same calipers as the THP200.

This is Brembo's statement regarding application, but we know there are other possibilities. Since Brembo probably will not trial fit this system on other RCZ's, then anyone fitting them to other models probably will not get any assistance from Brembo if problems are experienced.
