My dealer called today to say he's expecting the car to arrive this week and by the time I get my private plate put on I might even have it for next week :D Its going to be sleepless nights for the next week or so I suspect

Mine apparently arrives at the dealer 7th March (NEXT MONDAY!!!!!)

Has to go through a pre-delivery inspection by the leasing company and they are quoting me mid to late march though  :x

It'll be worth the wait im just hoping my private reg doesn't take too long to transfer, normally I leave it off for a few months when I buy a new car but since I'v spent more than I usually would on the RCZ I thought I'd snap the garages hand off since they offered to put it on for free, plus at least everyone will know its my car

God don't get me started on private plates......

I had one and the car it was on was a dog and when the engine went I registered it SORN. I got a company car and coouldn't keep the plate.

Since the car with the plate was SORN I flogged it for next to nothing to an acquaintance of the family. The understanding was that since the DVLA wouldnt transfer the plate from a SORN vehicle to a retainer, he would make the car roadworthy and keep it as long as I got the plate back when it was. He never got it going.

The registration has sadly died with the car. Anyone any ideas how I can get it back please let me know. The DVLA were so unhelpful it was untrue.
