Hi all, having had two years of wedded bliss, RCZ No 2 is on its way! As I am a mere female (you know, what colour is it, etc), here's what the paperwork says.
1.6 THP GT 2dr Coupé 1.6, Metallic mercury grey, leather seats Frisson grey; keeping nice plate of 3 + 3. It is already built (I don't think you can configure your own any more with the new 2013 on its way) so there was no possibility of adding anything to it at this stage. Don't care! I love it already!
It is in an English dealer's at the moment, but hopefully will make its way across the pond to NI inside two weeks (unlike the Amber Red delivered to the dealers this am while I was there which had actually been THROUGH a pond yesterday - the owner thought he could make it through the floodwater but spotted trouble when the water reached the windscreen).
Sooooooo happy!

Congratulations!

You say about the "nice plate of 3 + 3", is that the number plate that I've recently seen a picture of on another motoring forum - a two digit number plate? I'm sure it was grey too so makes sense...very interesting plate indeed!

Sorry - I didn't mean to mislead you - I wish I DID have a 2 digit plate! It's 3 letters followed by 3 numbers (I'm only shy of posting it in the same way as you don't put your full address online.)

Wonderful news Oakville :)

Mercury Grey is a colour that has grown on me. Not normally a grey car sort of girl but it suits the RCZ.

Don't forget to post some pics when you pick her up :)

Ah I see, no worries :D

FYI I was referring to this:

You can see how I thought you meant this  Although, that looks more like Dolphin Blue on closer inspection!

Ahhh me misleading you I fear - sorry! No, what I meant was - Oh heck, it's DDZ 446. 3-number plates are very hard to come by in Northern Ireland, as NI normally has 3 letters then 4 numbers, the 3 letters dating the car; but we have had our number for 14 years, and quite like it. I can see from reading other posts that our new baby is ordinary enough, but I'm just thrilled with it and can't wait! I would have quite liked a quad exhaust but tbh the cost is excessive given that I just want to enjoy the driving and of course the envious looks (how bad is that!!) Our lovely wee salesman (who looked about 15) had to forgo his lunch to make sure he got this one from a dealership in England, so it will arrive in a couple of weeks. Given that the last one - Nera black - took several months to arrive I can live with this! BUT - you wouldn't believe the turn out of the dealership onto the road - sloped, with a high kerb, and a tight turn unless you want to hit some madman coming at speed the other way. It's so easy to hit the kerb that I think I will get the 15 year old to drive it out for me!

Personally I agree :)

Given I've just got mine you could say I'm biased, but I don't think the wait is worth the difference. Especially when I think the current front looks pretty damn good.

The only thing I'd rather have is LED DRLs, but I could always aftermarket those anyway I believe.
