Hello everybody :
i have a Peugeot rcz, i had a engine temp issue so i just swapped out the sensor. the car will now not start.

i guess i need to know if i plugged the correct loom plugs into the correct components as there are 3 in the same area. 2 are green and one brown. i am pretty confident the brown one is correct however i may have muddled up the 2 green connectors as the seem to fit both components which is rather unhelpful.

i am not entirely sure that this is the issue with it not cranking when i turn they key but its a start with troubleshooting the issue i guess.
thanks for any help and advice in advance.

Did you get a EML warning with the fan coming full on before you changed the sensor try maybe swopping over the connectors
No crank from a temp sensor fault could mean the ECU is getting confused signals & can't adjust the Fuel/air ratio correctly which can lead to a no crank issue or possibly stalling after start up & usually means the temp sensor is the culprit another member found his new sensor was a dud so have you fitted the correct part? when mine went I ordered it direct from Peugeot

no fan on constant but eml light is still on. i cleared 2 codes, one was o2 sensor and the other i dont know as is a manufacturer code.

i can her relays click but nothing from starter motor. i just tried swapping connectors to no avail.

i got the part from euro, i guess i could plug the old sensor in again to test that?

i just called the rac to see if they can also help.
