No LCD display on Radio Screen

Hi all

Radio is working but no LCD screen. Music is playing but screen is blank.
Then after few minutes driven engine fault warning light popped up. Any ideas?

If there is a common cause, it can only be the battery. Have it tested.
I assume you don't have sat nav so have the RD5. There is a "DARK" button to the lower right of the volume control. Press that to see whether the screen switches on.

Hi

Its the 200GT, 2010 plate (no Sat Nav).

I've pressed and re-pressed the "dark" button and no joy :-(

What firmware are you running, there was an update for the RT4 & RT5 units to 8.31 which corrected a few issues. It's available at

Worth updating to the latest software even if it doesn't correct your fault. :eusa-think:
