Hi all . Just introducing myself as a first time RCZ owner. Just collected it today .... A 60 reg 156 thp gt with 19" solstice alloys, quad exhausts, all black front grille, black roof and mirrors. The body being in white.... 31k 1 owner with full history and original purchase invoice too. I'm over the moon with the car but must stop looking behind to watch the spoiler rise while I'm driving lol....... Looking forward to spending tomorrow detailing it and putting my stamp on the finishing touches .

Welcome to the forum Fizzy! Your new chariot sounds like a beauty...it'd be even nicer to see it. ;)

Ooooh...finishing touches, what are your plans? :eusa-think:

Please feel free to ask any questions as you go and I wish you and your RCZ many happy miles together.

Thanks mrizzle . Yes I'm so far pleased with the car. To be fair the finishing touches I should have called beginning touches hah .... My first job even though the car or Rory as the Wifes now named it ( due to the subtle growl from the quad exhausts and the fact she's nashed off to the Ryder Cup ) is very clean I will give it a thorough clean tomorrow and get it up to a standard im happy with. From there I'm just going to enjoy getting used to the RCZ and see where that takes me for possible improvements. As they say it's not a sprint its a marathon so I will just take things slow. I must say mind your now driving one of the most gorgeous cars out there at the moment in the VXR GTC.... WOW ....love them.... I was lucky enough to sell cars for 16 years at a specialist garage so have been in and driven a wide range a beauties in that time. Would you beleive I put a depost down on a 30008 peugeot !!!!.... And ended up with the RCZ lol.... There's a story in itself but I fear i could talk a glass eye to sleep so won't go on .... Will post some pics of Rory (ahem) ... Soon lol

A hearty welcome Fizzy. I hope you thoroughly enjoy Rory and I must say you are lucky to have quads already fitted.....
Can`t wait to see your pics. " things you`ll do often with Rory.
1. Be extremely carefull driving past parked cars and overtaking... Will my RCZ`s arse end actually go past without clipping .... lol
2. No matter where you park your car you will always do a double or triple check and admire its beauty.. hehe

Welcome Fizzy. I've only had my RCZ for 3 weeks and I don't expect the joy of looking or driving it to wear off any time soon. You'll love it.
I do need to clear one point up though.
Did you say the "wife" has gone to see the Ryder Cup?
You should of left her at home to detail the car whilst you had a jolly boys outing to Gleneagles.

I'm only saying.

Can I also add, this forum is amazing. I take my hat off to the admins of the site and also the forum members who give (info) without expecting anything in return.
