Hi all. Newbie Alfa Romeo fan who just put a deposit down on a lovely Gt today to accompany my Giulietta Cloverleaf. It's been a while since a car excited me as much as the test drive of the Rcz today.

Couple of quick questions. Does anyone manufacture black peugeot badges ? The silver one is a bit ott for the beautiful lines of the car in my eyes. Also what's the recommended freeflow airfilter of choice ? K&N ?

Thanks in advance of any answers.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. You weren't tempted to hold out for the Giulia then as an Alfa fan or is that the replacement for the Giulietta?

I'm not aware of anyone that manufactures black Peugeot badges but they can be easily blackened using a can of plastidip. This is a good compromise and can be easily removed in the future should you wish.

As for the filter, I believe that Pipercross also do an air filter but I can't comment on this one. I, and many others use(d) the K&N filter. They can generally be found cheapest on eBay.

Please dig into the forum and ask any questions as they arise. We are a very friendly bunch and glad to have you here!

Thanks for such a prompt and friendly reply. I'm a lucky boy as we traded the Mito Cloverleaf for the sexy Rcz and we still have the Giulietta to trade for something later in the year.

I'm a bit of a detailing freak also so can't wait to let the chemical guys and poorboys loose on the rzc. :)

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Whereabouts in Yorkshire are you? I'm in East Yorkshire. Look out for the annual Yorkshire RCZ Meet which is held in May each year. Next year it's our 5th:)

It's alwAys good to welcome a detailing freak too. Join the club :)

It's just that, there are 3 Z's in Royston that I know of, and it's not a big village. Every time I go out I see a different Z locally. When travelling outside my local area, I rarely see one. And I know of several Z owners from Gods country on this very forum

Yorkshire = Z magnet :eusa-think:

:lol:

Thanks all. Very close to Royston actually, in Staincross.

Ps not sure the back seats even have room for a whippet.

:D
