Hi
just saying hello to you all
i am in the process of buying a 2012 Asphalt from Exeter
I live in Wiltshire and will be travelling down on 12th March to pick it up

Has anybody got any advice or comments on the Asphalt
i have read some of the topics on cleaning and got confused over what was good
and what was bad to shampoo it and seal it
so if anybody has any experience then that would be brilliant

cheers
paul

Cleaning wise, best have a chat with our resident cleaning buff, RCZ1.
She'll be along in a little while but if not just drop her a pm.

You can only use specific cleaning products for matte paint. Swissvax, Chemical Guys, Angelwax amongst others do specific products for your needs. Just remember that you can't polish matte paint. Swissvax do a wax specific for matte paint - they have a whole range for this purpose. A coating can be used on matte paint too. Something like Gtechniq.

Hi and Welcome,
Peugeot sell products for the matt paint, Technature, I have been using these, just wash and go. Don't think they sell a sealant though. Miles of smiles.

P.S Welcome to other Newbies, not posted for a while computer problems since upgrading to Windows 10 ?

If you buy a matte car then Peugeot should supply the correct products with it, IMO. Matte paint is not like normal paintwork but how many people actually buy a matte car without realising it. I've seen a fair few. It would be only right to supply a small pack with the car.
