Yes it does. The timing chain on my GTi is 10 years or 100,00KM whichever is sooner. Not sure about the R. Some of the R owners will know.

I thought 24 a tad extreme.but says after each stamp (main dealer ) next due 24 month.

Oh and the Sparks need changing every year aswell. That’s what you get when you drive a heavily engineered car developed by Peugeot sport. :eusa-whistle: don’t get me stared on the brakes....

Yea says sparks on every stamp.
So whats the damage with sparks service ?
Go on hit me with the stoppers.
May as well be prepared

Under 3 year warranty until end of april.
Then 2 year with dealer so probs have serviced at main dealer.
Ouch wallet.
How much is a service with plugs roughly.
No play today raining

The timing chain is due to be replaced at about 180.000km (110.000 miles). Mine was changed at about 90.000 miles due to heavy duty usage (equates to flat out driving like Schumacher would sit in my rear view mirror).

It's very strange the timing interval for the R chain. On the report I was given it says change chain at 112,500 miles under normal use, but under arduous use 120,000 miles which doesn't make sense.

Anyway Mark this is my service schedule and yours will be same....
