Hi all, the wife and i bought one yesterday, a 156 gt in shark grey and picking it up friday  Ive had peugeots for years incl the quality 205 gti's, 206 gti's and 180's and tbh i thought peugeot had lost their way somewhat, but i do love the look of the Z

This will be her car while i smoke around in my old work horse, the 306hdi :D but my love is for my old classic escort MK3 xr3i turbo ;) love it to bits, a proper drivers car

Ill post a few pics up when we get it

Thanks for the welcomes

Ill get a few pics up of the Z when we get it, how come the shark grey is rare then ?

Here's a few pics of my old banger ;)

Its running a full RS turbo set up which i built this year and its running 200 bhp which is a handfull for and old car  , I've owned the car for 5 years now and got bored of the 3i lump certainly when we got to the shows with my club and i couldn't keep up with all the others

sorry for all the pics

hers one of my old 180 as well, it was a minter..... i owned it for 4 years and it had only done 22k when i sold it
still miss it.

Because the Japanese tsunami took out the factory that made the paint pigment and so the colour was prematurely withdrawn

Loving your pics and efforts with the XR3i. She's looking VERY tidy and all your devotion has clearly paid off. A fantastic example of a modern classic. One thing...you're not an SNP supporter are you?! ;-)

:wtf: XR3I :wtf: I CAN REMEMBER MY fATHER HAVING JUST A XR3 twin Venturi carb 95 BHP engine, the Injection system took it to something like 110 bhp, then the original ALL WHITE RS TURBO TOOK THE BHP UP TP 130 BHP    .

My Father pre ordered the 1st XR3 in scotland and cost him way............ back in 1982 something like £10,000

My sister had a couple of XR3i's. I was very young at the time. One was a convertible in a lovely blue colour, like this

The trouble is with the headlamp washers is the size of them, plus they are mega rare now and the screen wash bottle takes up half the engine bay

My friend Brendan on our club has them on his ghia which is a minter and has most of the accessory bits on it, but i just dont think they look right on the XR/16i/s1 versions.

The caspains are quite rare these days, i know of only 2 3i's in that colour, ones on a Y plate, the other on a C
