Hi all,

I'm days away from ordering my RCZ HDI in Nera black with sat nav... Went to the dealership on Saturday to place my order only to be told that there is a sever delay with my model with the sat nav option... If I go without sat nav, I can take delivery in a matter of weeks, but if I want the sat nav Peugeot have told the dealership they arent producung any for another three months due to increased demand in Europe... then there's a twelve week leadtime on top of that! Does this sound farmilliar to anyone?

Anyway, what i'd like to ask everyone is before I order... what should I consider as optional extras? The budget is tight so if you were doing it again, what would you choose which you regret you left off your own!???

Hi Woody

I've got a THP 156 sport and I'm happy with no extras - the car is stunning except..... I would have got front parking sensors. I'm used to the car now but the car is quite wide and you can't see the front of the car from the drivers seat. Maybe fancier wheels would have been cool but not a necessity! The basic stereo sounds brilliant to me. Leather seats can be added at a later date - see RCZ1's - they are amazing. The faux leather in the sport model is great looking and most people can't tell it's not real leather.

Good luck with your precious RCZ on the ferry!!!

Cheers, Scarlet

I don't know if you are going for the Sport or GT version of the diesel but like Scarlet says, it would have been nice if Peugeot offered more than one design of alloy for the Sport version. I would have preferred different alloys but it's only a minor point and does not affect my enjoyment of the RCZ.

my gt hdi has the vision pack which is very good, leather seats great, i would have gone for the sport pack if i was to buy one again. i recon the quad exaust is a must, purely a visual thing but it balances the rear end. am quite happy with my
tom tom sat nav and the basic sound system is very good with the bluetooth phone conection. oh and red is the best colour.

Does it have to be black?
I had the same issue so i decided to change my colour preference to one of four. This allowed me to take delivery in one week!!!!
If you are prepared to accept another colour ask your dealer to have Peugeot U.K. check their stocks. You'd be surprised what they have sat in their compound.
No long wait and i got the spec i wanted. Only one week from order to delivery of my gorgeous mercury grey!!!!

Just a thought.
