Just bought an 2011 RCZ Asphalt with 12.000km

Will take it this week or the next for a full service, and if reasonable MAP / Firmware update. Have already started to search the forum for tips and useful info's.

Thanks!

:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:

A search of the forum should reveal a cost free method of updating your firmware, maps & speed cams. It does involve a small amount of computer knowledge, so I can see it's not for everyone, but it's an option to think about :eusa-think:

The car will be serviced next Monday (in France - way cheaper than here).

Once it's clean I will send some pics. So far very pleased with it. Handles very well, nice Stereo but not so poweful (but still fun to drive!).

If they do not update the firmware, I will do it myself. Maps I still have to download them, and looking for a site where I can download the Speed Cameras in Switzerland.

DKZ5745,

I have looked everywhere, but I can't find a direct link to download the updates... Maybe you could PM me them?

.
How much for service in France?

I will pay €180 for oil / oi filter, and €50 for break fluid change (service included for both). I decided not to change the polen filter, panel filter and spark plugs (al of them were changed in the last service and the car ran less than 6.000km since then, and the car has now only 12.000km).

In Switzerland the dealer estimated over CHF500 for the same service... It was also cheaper than Germany.

I will order later a panel filter from Pipercross.

Nice car! Very low mileage. Not for much longer if your dealer is based in another country
