Moved over to a 200 GT from my 3.0Si Z4 on sunday. Missing a few horses, but enjoying the space and of course the looks.

I was looking for a red one and when I saw this one with some matt black wrap, I just had to have it.

Nice motor - welcome to the club!

On a side note, since you had a BMW previously I just wanted to point out that the RCZ has a special feature called 'indicators'. There is a stalk behind the steering wheel that, when flicked either up or down, makes little orange lights on the side of the car flash to show other motorists that you intend to turn in that direction. Quite novel really... ;)

I think on the BMW range, the "indicators" are one of the optional extras avaiable at an extra cost. Certain models have them as standard, but they are usually de-activated by default. :eusa-think:

I think they are becoming an "option" on a lot of modern cars, and they are not even available on any taxis. :eusa-whistle:

Coming from a BMW with more horses, I think you will be pleasantly surprised what happens when you floor the right pedal on your 200GT :eusa-shhh:

To be fair not all BMW drivers refuse to use their indicators though.

Why only today I saw one with all four flashing at once as he was parked on a pavement blocking a wheelchair ramp while he made a phone call and ate his lunch...

Welcome craigdm.
I hope the car treats you well.

I got me a 520 touring two weeks ago and there actually is indicators as standard on my car
What it's missing though is a working PDC system as it didn't make any sound at all before I planted it in another car the other day :( Coming from Audi for the last six years I must say that I aint impressed.

Not too sure why I would need to use these modern fangled light things... Why would I want to tell anyone where I'm going next? Obviously I've just flown past them so they're pretty irrelevant.

As as side note, does the GT have some sort of artificial sound generator?

It does indeed have a membrane that is cunningly located so only the driver can hear it. :eusa-shhh:

There are threads on this forum relating to this very thing. Some wanting to remove it, and I believe they successfully did so, and some wanting it to be louder.

It just shows you can't please all the people all the time. :eusa-think:

My car has a couple of RCZ Performance stickers in the rear quarter lights. Wonder if they did the matt wrapping on the the arches and spoiler?

Great that the stickers are still there and although we do not have an online shop anymore we do sell several RCZ items via direct messaging through our Facebook page and website (found using the links in our signature). We also sell via eBay by under 'streetperformanceuk'. So if you are looking for anything for your RCZ, just contact us as we are the RCZ specialists.

As for the wrpa, not done by us as we do not offer wrapping services.

We look forward to hearing from you.
