Hi All,

Have just bought a 2013 Sport 1.6 THP RCZ in Moroccan red. Low mileage and as good as new. Looks wonderful and is a joy to drive. Fitted ISOFIX car seat in the back and have ordered KN air filter having read some of the posts here. Might also go for an ECU remap. I'll see if anyone here has done a remap on the Sport 156 THP and has an opinion ?

My RCZ R

After two months loving driving my red RCZ Sport I was browsing the internet and came across a new Red RCZ R for sale from Hughes of Beaconsfield. This was a Sep 2015 pre reg with just 800 miles on the clock and with a huge discount on the original list price. I though I would drive over and just have a look out of curiosity. The salesman suggested I should take it out for a test drive. When I came back with a huge grin over my face the salesman knew I was hooked. A week later I drove my red RCZ over to Beaconsfield and drove back home with a red RCZ R !! and a big hole in my bank balance.

I thought my wife would not notice the difference in the cars but she did, so I had to confess to my very impulsive buy. I treated her to a curry and managed to convince her that you are only young once (in my case that was quite a while ago).

I decided that I needed get some hands on experience with driving an RCZ R on a track so I signed up for a Peugeot Track Taster experience in one of their RCZ R's with an instructor at Bedford Autodrome. I have never been on a track before so what not sure what to expect. After a couple of laps in the passenger seat we swapped seats and for the next five laps I was doing my best to follow instructions over the mike such as BRAKE - POWER -CHANGE UP - TURN IN - APEX etc etc. After five laps of this I was totally wiped out. We had a break then the instructor said he would take me around a fast lap. This was the white knuckle ride for me but a fantastic experience. And it really showed me what the RCZ R is capable of. Now I've got the bug and will be going back to Bedford Autodrome with my RCZ R for a track day next month.

If I turned up with an R & a curry, I would pretty soon be wearing the curry & on my way back to the dealer :eusa-whistle:

Don't think it came with usb player.
But in the arm rest storage area there maybe a usb socket for plugging in a usb drive (flash drive) which has music files on, should have a hinged cover on it.

Must admit, I hadn't read the first post by Sarah properly. I didn't realise she didn't have the car yet. I wondered how she could have missed the USB socket, & not having that model myself, I did wonder if perhaps it didn't have one, but a bit of research indicated that there is in fact a USB socket in the central armrest as Chris indicated.
