Hi all,

2013 RCZ 156 GT in Mercury Grey. Private plate RCZ nnnn coming as soon as I get my V5.

I just noticed some algae/moss, not sure which, on both doors rubber window seals, right at the end of the door. I've dealt with this pesky stuff before but just came up with a new better way of getting rid of it very easily and quickly.

Spray with a small amount of "Flash with bleach", use an electric toothbrush to gently brush it. Wash down with plenty of water. Done ;O)

Cheers all,

Ian

Welcome to RCZ ownership and welcome to the forum!

great tip but you forgot the final step:

Put wife's electric toothbrush back in bathroom cabinet.

Welcome Ian, great looking car  I had the same problem with my window rubbers but I wash my car religiously every week and have been algae free for some time now

Nice looking Z - welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the tip, I noticed this on my car when I first got it - sure sign it's been left outside and a little neglected.
I just had to sort it out, so I used my wifes toothbrush and it was sorted in no time at all.
I did remember to put it back thankfully....

Wife's Toothbrush - very handy for cleaning car....
