Newbie in Cornwall

Hi everyone,

Newbie from Cornwall here.

Well in about a weeks time i'm going to be the proud owner of an RCZ GT in Amber Red on a 10 plate. :dance:

I don't do "normal" cars so i'm a tad excited to say the least. Previous cars include VX220, Subaru Impreza Sti Prodrive, Corsa VXR and most recently BMW Z4.

Couple of quick questions:-

While the dealer is sorting out service, mot etc etc i had a look through Accessories booklet and noticed Silver Side Stripes (VAS307) available at what seems a reasonable costs but i can't find any pics of the Silver ones, only the black version. Does anyone have any pics of the Silver stripes on a Amber Red? Just so i can see before i ask dealer to fit them prior to car delivery? Or should i avoid like a rash?

Is there a South West Owners Club?

Sure i'll have many more questions and am looking forward to joining the RCZ world.

Welcome, we are in Devon and don't see too many about , can't say I have seen one at all when in Cornwall, generally very friendly when you come across one though and flash lights or wave .
You will enjoy your Z , you will also enjoy everyone else looking at it !

Well you just know that when the Sales Manager of a Peugeot Main Dealer doesn't want your money that maybe the side stripes on an Amber Red isn't a good idea

On the plus side, may now be getting the car this Friday even with the private plate all sorted, whoop whoop.

Well impressed with Truscott's of Helston, long may this level of service continue!!

We use Truscotts Peugeot in Exeter , excellent dealership , always helpful and friendly so far on both our Z's .

Well i finally collected it this afternoon, closely followed by north cliff coast road blast and a cider (not at same time),.it got soooo much attention parked outside the bar. Loving it, colour is amazing. Happy JJ
