Hello everyone enjoyed reading your posts feel like I know ABZ, Lainey, Ron etc by now.
Bought her a month ago, after passing one for sale in Dorchester whilst out on a trip to Chichester. Knew I would stop for a look on the way home, and the rest is just history.
For some time my darling wife had said she was getting a bit bored doing the short commute to work in "that OK but rather old man's car" that was our diesel passat. The third one in a row.
I knew she would love the RCZ and after showing her a picture of the one for sale in Dorchester, we saw one for sale in Auto trader, at Howards of Yeovil nearer to our Budget and we rushed up there the next day and did the deal.
I really did not want to drive the Passat home but had to wait an excruciating 4 days to collect her.
I did not need or want a test drive but the salesman insisted, and insisted on coming with as my wife drove, me in the passenger seat, and 6' 4" of him somewhere behind on the 2 parcel shelves that are loving referred to as "rear seats" trying to be inconspicuous.
We laughed out aloud on the way home.
Anyway 50 yds into the test drive and wifey utters the deal clinching, mid life crisis busting, immortal words, " I feel 10 yrs younger already"
Job done!
Insured with Quote me happy, 2 x Adults + 24 yr old son £360. Tried Prestige Keep moving , but were much dearer.
See I have been visiting the forum!
Drives like a dream, looks gorgeous, 3 happy bunnies.
I thought I was just buying a good looking sports car, had no idea I would sign up to the detailing club, clay bars, carnuba wax etc, and washing almost daily! Hey Ho
