Hello, and welcome Mrs Slayer.
The first game I played on a computer was Space Invaders. Took two hours to poke it all into 1k of ZX81 RAM and my game lasted probably no more than 20 seconds. Then it was tea time and I had to turn it off then type it all in again the next day.
I then tried Starship Titanic by Douglas Adams (of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy fame). Way too complex and clever for me.
Finally found my level with You Don't Know Jack. The original game is superbly quirky, quiz-tastic. I still keep an old laptop running Windows '95 just to play the occasional round of YDKJ.

I've had a busy few weeks hence not being on. I'll have a think about events and see if I can think of a nice meetup location around the East Anglia region.

Not much of a gamer myself but in relation to those silver roof rails I find a couple of coats of autoglym super resin polish brings them up nice and shiney!!
