Well new for me, less than a year old and done 3500 miles. Drives like an absolute treat. Only picked it up on Wednesday and can't understand how I didn't find this car sooner, fantastic drive and looks the business.
Had a (well 2) 406 Coupe's for 11 years and loved them but this is another level.

If you've got any tips tricks etc, feel free to get in touch and I'll look forward to being on the forum.

All the best and enjoy the bank holiday,

Andy.

Welcome.

You have a stonking car, don't you know.

You will of course get the obligatory demand for pics on here, so peebs can slaver over it.

Just saying

Anyway. Enjoy your R - as I do with mine

Only word of warning - beware of folding jacking points. They are made of cheese. Check and photo before any work is carried out on car.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip, useful to know and I'll do as you said.

Been fitting Canbus LED's today, (some seem better than others) Interior looks so much nicer.

Tried to add some pics but will need to edit as apparently file size too big. Seriously 256kb max?

Anyway, good vibes.

Great choice,Moroccan Red looks great ,some great deals out there now for the R , this is our second Z , first one being a 156 GT , the first one was great , the R is awesome. We also have an XC90 Volvo which now stays on the drive an awful lot !! One good thing has also arisen in that because of the care I give the R with detailing I now apply to my Volvo ,it now looks as though it has just come out the showroom!!

Yes beautiful car, have had the Peugeot protect treatment. Seemed silly not to for £250 on this type of car. Basically as new. Looks amazing and judging by the last couple of days, not just me who thinks so. Although not the reason for buying it, proper drivers car!

I agree totally, love the way it matches/syncs with the other red touches on the car such as calipers, interior stitching.

Cheers, I always try to get the best fuel. Unfortunately near me I only have Tesco's (kill your sensors) Momentum or BP ultimate.
So Generally on the ultimate, but will fill up with the best Shell when I can. As you say the car deserves it.

As for gender pronouns I'm letting it find itself and be happy. LOL.

Welcome to the forum and nice car I am also in Gloucestershire and have the thp200 Red Carbon in the same colour that I bought in March. Cracking cars shame it looks like they are no more as in a few years time it will make it difficult to decide what to buy next.

Cheers
Nick

True, I heard, and I don't know if this is correct, that they are only going to make 500 of the R's?
However if Peugeot keep up with the sport department we should hopefully have good things ahead.

I doubt any future development will look anywhere near as good as the Z. They will probably concentrate on making some hatch look a bit sportier and quicker than the standard supermarket-run model.

I wasn't interested in buying a Pug until the Z came along, although in my previous life, I did have a 309 & a 405.

I doubt very much that I will be buying another Pug once the Z has gone, so I intend keeping this one as long as I can. :eusa-think:

Lovely car. Something i wanted but budget wasnt quite there so went for a 156 gt in red for now! Performance of the R is very impressive especially high speed stability.
