New RCZ owner

Hi guys

Just joined the site. Just bought a new black RCZ HDI GT.

Always been a loyal BMW owner with my previous 2 cars being a 530d M Sport and a 320i M Sport.

Was looking for a new BMW but my wife really liked the look of the RCZ. Sorry to say but I never thought I would see myself buying a Peugeot. After some late night discussions with my wife, which she won, the RCZ it was. Pleasantly surprised. Although not as fast as the BMW, the RCZ drives really well, it feels solid, looks great and the GT spec is excellent.

I am looking to buy a foot rest to match the pedals, a boot liner and front and rear mud guards. Genuine parts if available. I've seen these items on-line and also mentioned on this forum. Can anyone help?

I have the pedals and the boot liner.. most recommended to all.. but the chances of getting the mudflaps are as much as ronny dieler keeping his job at celtic im afraid

Many thanks for all the posts welcoming me to the Forum and to recommending RCZ Performance.

Been onto RCZ Performance and have ordered the foot rest and k&n replacement air filter. Nice chap I spoke to on the phone and very helpfull.

My car is a 14 reg, black RCZ 2.0 HDI 163. I got it remapped to 200 (BHP) and 300 (torque). Wanted 1.6 200 but as all my commuting is on the motorway, I thought it best for the diesel.

My 5 series was remapped to 300 BHP and 500 torque. Very fast and lovely to drive but to be honest, I'm finding the RCZ more fun.

Was looking for front mud guards. Worried that the front tyres will throw the winter road salt up against the rear arches as they do stick out further and cause small chips. Has anyone experienced this to be an issue? Ronny Dieler might be good at sorting this one out :helpme:

Was thinking of getting front bumper spoiler, roof, wing mirrors, rear boot spoiler and rear valance covered with top quality carbon film. What do you think? As the car is black I'm not sure how this will look. Also just turned 40 so maybe it's time to grow up and put the boy racer look to bed :wave:

Also, any recommendations on rear exhaust modification?

Well if you have 10 years at 56 then I think I will go back in time and fit a BIG BORE exhaust, the one that gave you a migraine by the time you got to where you were going. Might even start banging out TTF on the tunes, although I don't thing the stereo takes cassettes :eusa-whistle:

I seem to remember a "Peco Booster" centrally fitted to my first mini. Sounded like a Ferrari, drove like a Robin Reliant.
That's why everybody played their music so loud, they had to so that it could be heard over the exhaust! :eusa-whistle:

It has taken me all this time with my very limited and pathetic knowledge of computers to finally work out how to post a pic.

A standard Black HDI GT with an Ecotune remap and K&N filter. I'm lovin it!!!!!
