Hi everyone,

After many weeks of umming and ahhing I finally took the plunge yesterday and placed an order for an RCZ. I ordered GT200 in Mercury Grey with black solstice wheels, black mirrors, black grill, black calipers, sat nav and visibility pack. Was very tempted in Asphalt model as virtually came out at the same price but I just dont think I could live with the specialist paintwork but did look stunning. Still am sure what I have specd will be great, delivery end of March hopefully. Coming from a long line of Seats which have all been brilliant I have just given my Bocanegra back and fingers crossed this will be as reliable as they have been.

Only ever owned one Peugeot before, a 205 Rallye back in the day, a cracking little car.

Cant wait to share lots of info with you guys on this stunning looking car! Roll on March!

Stu

It sounds very stealthy with the options that you have ordered. March is not too far away so hopefully the time will go quite quickly for you. I'm sure the forum will keep you entertained in the meantime, making you drool even more.

Best wishes

A work mate of mine has a ibiza in white  bocanegra nice fun fastish ;) but the interior does let it down a little an seat problem throughout the range anyhow the asphalt you have missed the boat there as its the rarist of rcz  and in my opinion the best rcz so far.the rcz will no doubt just be a bit slower than cupra but a lot better to drive and especially to look at

Hi matey was offered a Asphalt as it was already at the show room as their demo car, but as much as I loved it it was just the paint that was putting me off  Yes the seat was a great car very quick as was Dsg to, but I am sure the rcz wouldn't be too far behind very impressed when out on test drive a lot smother drive and very smart inside. Think the only thing that I would say is the sat nav system should have been standard in the car as it really does make the dash look so much better theirs too much flex in the plastic of the domed housing on top of the dash on the standard system ,still there we are :)

Expensive is a not a word that I would have used. It is worth every penny and no one should by an RCZ without it. The improved cab appeal alone takes care of the cost, which leaves all of the added features as a value added bonus

Ron we all get your drift with the sat nav because it embellish's the dash  but for £1,500 for it in a peugeot is a rip off and for someone on a certain budget its not the be all and end all for the best rcz as you can get the 200gt for £1,500 over the price of 156 bhp gt so people say on this forum makes a big difference.Personally speaking i would have pearl paint, black soltice wheels and the vision pack together instead of the satnav

I agree from a new car perspective but from a secondhand point of view I was only looking for RCZ's with Satnav built in. I would have gone for those exact options on a potential new car Jassy as they certainly spruce up the exterior so to speak. I haven't had a chance to test out the satnav as yet but we have a run down to Kent tomorrow so will give it a whirl then. Having said that I have a 12 month old TomTom Go Live 1000 which is now surplus to requirements! Probably keep it for when we do some travelling abroad I guess.

Congrats on your purchase Stu, you won't regret it and the next month or so will go quickly

Nice choice. I ordered the same colour with the solstice onxy and black mirrors. I think white seems to be the most popular colour but mercury grey really is something special with the black trims!
I've been give a collection date of 29 march and I ordered it last Thursday. well see whose comes first! :)

Stu38 What a happy chappy you shall be. There is no car like it in the price range. Nearly 12months of RCZ ownership under my belt and I still have not got used to the thrill that it still gives me to both look at it and to drive it. I definitely have the RCZ Syndrome and I won't be taking any pills to cure that !!!
