Hi all. I bought my RCZ about 2 weeks ago, a HDI GT 2011 model. I've had the silver archers painted nera black to match the car (just my personal preference) but unfortunately when I tried to upload some photos it told me the file was too big! I'm not much of a computer guy so if someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong that would be great. For the last 5 years I've been driving toyota celica's, the last of which was a gen 7 GT. I liked the look of the RCZ from day one so I've eventually decided to try it. One thing I would like to ask the membership is does anyone know if the headlamps can be split to allow me to paint all of the reflective plastic, any knowledge on this would be appreciated.

Welcome :)
I think the colour of your car is probably the only one that will suite body coloured roof arches.

The headlights can be split, but i dont think anyone who is active on here has done it. There certainly isnt a how to anyway. Ive been toying with the idea myself, but its a lot of work and would mean my car would be out of action for a week or so.

Hi and welcome too,

I also have gone for 'ultimate black', but decided to go down the spi-vision route for headlights. I'm not sure splitting them is possible...

Congratulations and Welcome!

Some have split the headlight apart to detail them inside, but this does come with a risk if not done properly (e.g. inproper sealing allowing moisture in).
