Hi, think this site a great idea for pooling of ideas or issues!

I always liked the look of the RCZ and finally took the plunge last Friday.
I got a May 2015 156 sport from the local Peugeot dealer in Belfast, 11k miles and immaculate in white.
I test drove a 200gt but instead of paying 10k for a 2012 I went for the newer entry level car at £13800. Maybe paying a premium but to me worth it for that new car feel!
So far delighted with the car, well it's just different isn't it?
I'll post pics but you all know how they look!!

Good luck

:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:

We do know how they look, but we still want to see more  you can never see too many pics of RCZ’s :eusa-think:

Congratulations on getting the best car on the road, have a good look back through all the threads on here, there will probably be an answer to just about any question you might have somewhere on here.

Looking forward to seeing your pics

Hi and welcome I'm sure you'll love your new car and the forum, we do have Irish members and one(renegade) who even made it all the way over in his Z to the annual Yorkshire meet! And although he has now changed car to a 208 gti he's still a contributing member to the forum :
Look forward to seeing some shots of your beautiful Z.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I'll do the pics soon, honest!
Mine came with no floor-mats, has anyone bought recently? I take it the advertised ones on-line match the small posts on the floor?
Plus, I see the boot liner advertised. Is this worthwhile? Is it just for protecting the boot carpet?
Car getting dirty already :eusa-think: A passing seagull took a fancy to it first day!
I'm going to leave it a few weeks and get a protective wax put on it by a local guy, something I never considered when I had the Golf funnily enough!

Thanks again
John

Hi John, I have the boot liner I think it's a worthwhile addition does keep the boot carpet pristine but will protect against spills as it is "dished" it's made of quite sturdy plastic. I found the cheapest place to buy was my local pug dealer believe it or not!
As for the mats I have the original ones I have seen some extreme custom fit ones on AliExpress not cheap but they do look cool.

I am looking to buy a new set of mats for mine. I have seen some on EBay with leatherette piping edges that you can choose the colour, and also, either the RCZ lettering, or, lettering if your choice, eg. RCZ GT 200, or even a nice RCZ logo - just like my avatar. I think they range from @ £29 to £35 with a choice of carpet colour too.
Probably going to get some of them, eventually. :eusa-think:

I just ordered from the RAC website. " Deluxe " heavier quality with plain black all round. They apparently are an exact fit for the RCZ. £35 plus delivery.
I'll post re how good they are when they arrive..

I think they may look better once fitted in the car and will probably match the whip on the back seat! :eusa-whistle: :eusa-whistle:

I occasionally browse an American hybrid fora (daughter has a Yaris hybrid). :(
One person complimented another - "nice whip"
I thought "hello, what's all this then.
So Googled, and guess what.
The Yanks (well, some) use whip as slang for car.
Apparently the first cars steering wheels were called whips as that is how the beast was controlled.
It has slid into use as the whole car.
Good, eh? :)

I actually quite like those.
If my mats weren't in decent nick I might have been persuaded to try some.

RCZIain...

They really aren't for you, they'd look silly, try them in the car first - lol.
