Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum and a proud owner of my new RCZ! You seem like a happy bunch here compared to the TT forum where they couldn't decide whether RCZ was ugly or copy of TT! Hence if it is a copy then TT would be ugly then too. Anyway, I am not trying to stir a war here between RCZetters and TT's.

I got a Metallic Mercury Grey GT Model 2.0 HDi and so far I love it. It is beyond expectations! I was deciding between Dolphin Blue or White but when I saw this rare beauty and beastie in one, I just had to have it. And yes, she already has a name! I got her about 4 days ago. I've seen some great tips on here already regarding detailing and looking after RCZ's. Anyway, here she is in action.

Thanks for your warm welcome!

Yes, I went with this one because it was the youngest one. :) The blue was sold before I was able to make up my mind and there was no warranty to go with it. As for the white, my other half was not up to it. I also wanted something different and there's a black one and amber red around too. Hence I chose the grey as my previous car was silver and silver one is definitely not around. It cast a spell over me!
I actually like all colours and was after a red one originally but there was no red one available and this was my second best. This car just clicked with me for some reason. Also the salesman was convincing and wouldn't let me go away! lol

I've been after a car for a while and I really like the RCZ, so here I am.
Today we went to Halfords to get some stuff for cleaning and detailing but we had absolutely not a clue what to get.
There's so many manufacturers and products. This was our second trip too and didn't want to leave empty handed again so we got Simoniz wax, Meguiars interior leather polish and Meguiars wheel cleaner spray. Are these any good??
What about Turtle Wax, Autoglym,...there's so many brands. Are there any you would definitely avoid? Which products and brands do you recommend or feel they are a must have?

welcome to the forum :greetings-wavingblue: . completely agree with what you said about the TT forum!! I think they realise the Z is a more beautiful car but they are afraid to admit it, or maybe they don't understand how it is that the French could possibly design something better than the Germans. I owned a TT for 3 years and loved it but the RCZ is jaw droppingly beautiful. Nice car you have too. Mercury is a rare colour indeed...
