... I have had an RCZ for almost a year now. .

hi for my first post here ;)

i'm not an owner, still window shopping.

I wanted to ask how your RCZ is feeling for you after a year by now ?

The car is looking great on many levels. I'm currently a beemer owner.

The steering wheel controls on the beemer are nice and a safety feature as well. I feel that's one thing I may miss too much. This business of reaching over a console to adjust volume and skip tracks seems like a bad idea to me, but I suppose I'm spoilt :)

Your thoughts as a long term owner are appreciated in advance.

Re: Economy Mode Active

I'm on my 2nd RCZ GT, I came to it from a brand new 5 series ( f10 - current model )
All the stereo controls are just behind the steering wheel , it also controls the phone system - no reaching over.
Having moved from a new 5 series 2.0 diesel to a new RCZ GT. 2.0 diesel I'm more than happy !!
I recommend it. I've not had 1 fault and he customer service is much much better!

Re: Economy Mode Active

Thanks Scott. I did just happen across talk of the control stick. Okay. I'll read up on that.

And the Canbus system is in the RCZ. The beemer uses iBus, which I get data out of and send data into ;)

Canbus is actually a more serious layer. I might just leave that alone if I get a new RCZ :)

I really appreciate the prompt reply.

This car is so tempting ;)

Hi

I've had mind since October, swapped from a BMW 645 Ci.

OK so the overall grunt of the 4.5l Engine was great, but also awfully expensive.

My RCZ is swift enough to be loads of fun.

All the gadgets work and I use them all.

Do wish the SatNav would take a full postcode, but I had that issue in the BMW too.

All in all I completely prefer the RCZ. Much better looking, more fun to drive, MUCH cheaper to run.

Only drawback is that I find myself looking back at it whenever I leave her parked.

:)

I've had mine for 11 months and she still makes me smile - I love catching a glimpse of her in shop windows and reflected on back of other cars when I sit in traffic.
Still can't believe such a gorgeous car is mine......
