Willkommen.

It's not my old shark grey one is it with a chattering that was assumed to be the dual mass flywheel? :eusa-think:

Although, I always thought it was a belt tensioner as I didn't think petrols had DMF.

Whatever it was it was bloody annoying.

Hi Dave,

So enlighten us all to your RCZ woes, you never know the advice might help you out or point you in the direction of someone who can help.

Don't let the it isn't perfect put you off, I'm not perfect but I'm getting there LOL !!

Seriously don't let any faults put you off, they are all repairable and it is a fantastic car.

Cheers M..

:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:

You will get the odd issue whatever pre owned car you buy, but you only get the secret grin from an RCZ.

I think his issues are :-

I have an ongoing engine fault repair needed (efrn) problem.
The first time it occurred they said it needed a new turbo coolant pump (covered by purchased care plan) and new plugs (not covered)
Fault recurred within 2 months efrn, loss of power.
This time they say needs hp fuel pump(covered) and software update, not covered £110.
I have seen elsewhere on this forum that software updates should be routinely and freely carried out when your vehicle is in a dealership. is this right?
have any members had to pay for a software upgrade?
Any guidance appreciated,
RCZ1600THP200 2011
thanks
dave
