New member and help please!!

Hi everyone,
Thanks admin for adding me to the group.
I drive a 2.0L HDI RCZ which I love. I’ve owned it for 5 years and it always give me a buzz to drive.
I have a problem that I hope someone on here can help me with.
My multifunction screen has gone completely black. Has anybody else had this?

Is it sat nav screen or the one on the speedo clocks
If it's not clock on might be that you have pushed the stork control or you may have pushed the light contact to irs lowest setting... If its the sat screen these are prone to cable that snap over time... Hope this helps you out..

It the one on the top of the dashboard in the middle of the windscreen, but it’s not the sat nav type.
I’ve tried pressing the darkness button on the radio, but that has made no difference. Which button which stalk is it please?

Been out to the car, pushed the end of the short stalk on the right hand side of the steering wheel and now….nothing. Radio has gone off and won’t come back on.

Sounds like you may have a fuse blown have you checked them out if all is OK then possibly it maybe a wiring issue. You might need to have a reader plugged in and see if any fault codes come up...
I am sure someone else will come along to give you further advice....

The radio is now working after messing about with the steering wheel stalk, but struggling to get the glove box past the clip as stated in the driver’s manual to get access to the fuse box to check.

Watch out for damaging any wiring leading to the fuse box

Thank you , will do. There’s not a lot of room for manoeuvring the fuse tweezers about in there.

A long shot may be a few things 1 possibility is the unit has lost communication somewhere or the BSI has issues which will affect its functioning & or controls etc Peugeot have been known to reboot-upgrade the software to cure these glitches but it needs to be scanned to check for power inputs etc
