Hi all,

so, purchased a 2012 156 rcz with only 49k miles . Garage advised had replaced the drive chain ( mentioning chain ) and rocker gasket new discs in front and looks mint . Full new not and service . It was 140 miles away . We drove there took test drive , all seemed ok . When hoke next day had another look round and saw oil front of rocker , and car when driving slow on full lock , there’s a clicking noise coming from front end wheels . Informed Garage , and true to word , they sent a truck out next day to take car away and have a look . They have replaced rocker as on smoke test it had hairline crack . But cannot work out where sound is coming from . Said they have checked cv , ball joints etc , and suggest I have back see how it goes . I’ll attach the video I took of noise ( right at end of video ) . Any suggestions ? This has just apparently had a full lot and service . Thank you again . Ah, can’t attach video . It’s a click click click noise

Some tyres have this effect. I also had it with my R on its original rubber. At full lock it skips over its own threads. Now I have conti’s and they don’t have it.

Mine felt like a cv joint being broken. A knocking sound and feel every revolution or so. Scared me the first time. Maybe try it on loose sand? If it does not knock, it’s the tyres.
