hi all
im picking up a 2011 156 gt on weekend, unable to find a decent 200, so had to settle for 156, my question being probs been asked a million times, but any good remap companies, pref south wales area of national company, i used celtic in past, but was many moons ago, so not sure what they like now.
also any options for extra mods for engine, cant afford exhaust so would have to be fair reasonably priced, and tbh dont want to go mad, i too old for all that now, i did the vauxhall tunning scene for yrs, but fell out off it to family issues.

also its 62k miles fsh, is there anything service wise i should be getting done
thx in advance

Hi and welcome to the forum and RCZ ownership  I’m sure your going to live your new Z. I’ve had my 156 remapped and can tell you it’s a must, it makes so much difference and gets close to the 200hp better fuel economy as well
I would have thought your car would have had a new timing kit by now so hopefully just keep up with the services and you should have no worries just keep an eye on the oil level and keep it topped up at max some of these engines use oil and the level is critical.
Try and post some photos of your new pride and joy

Hi and Welcome.....

:happy-wavemulticolor: :text-welcomewave: :happy-wavemulticolor:

If it was me I would definitely be getting a stage 1 re-map,

Neil above has had it done and he swears by it, I would like it done to mine but with it being the R it's not highest on my list and rather worried of adverse effects !
One thing I would get done next time it requires a service is the gearbox oil changed, though Peugeot say it's a lifetime oil, those that have had it changed say it makes a right difference and the oil that comes out is blacker than black.
Going to have both my Pug's gearboxes done, if not by the squealer by me.

Good luck with your new head turner !!!

If yours has clocked up 62 thous by now it must be running well, so you know the rule....

If it's not broke don't fix it !!!

Try get some pics up, and there is a wealth of useful stuff on here and a friendly bunch too, so don't be afraid to ask even if you think it's silly, someone will help you out.

Cheers M..
