I have seen this car parked on my estate for some time now, it very rarely seems to move. Perhaps the owner could use a bit more driving experience so he might take corners on the correct side of the road.......

a couple of frames earlier, he was about to take the corner Lewis Hamilton style, nearly clipping the apex, ideal if on a race track, tricky on an estate when you cant see round the corner. I am standing on my brakes at this point while he is swerving left......

ahahah! Wasn’t me - however I’m very interested in your opinion of your dash cam?! (I assume you were driving your RCZ at the time?) I’m looking to get one (small one) that fits nicely, front and rear, movement sensing, maybe some infrared night operation - what do you have and would you recommend ?

I have copied this from an earlier post I made when I first got my dash cams...

The dash cam I have in the front is a B40 A118 Novatek 96650 AR0330 6G 170° Lens H.264 FHD 1080P Mini Car Dash Camera which records in unbelievable quality. The reviews of the night time quality are less than perfect, but I have found that although the night time video is not quite as good as the daytime recordings (which are perfect) they are perfectly acceptable, and would certainly still identify any vehicles required. This unit is slightly bigger than some in-car dvr's but due to the way it fits, it is more or less invisible in the car. There is virtually no lag on the file join, and on playback it's just like watching HD TV. This camera is hard wired into the fuse box, with all wires totally hidden.

The rear dashcam is the same camera, but the capacitor version A118C. This camera is wired into the boot. I wired a 12v accessory socket behind the covered opening in the boot lining, and it is plugged into that. There are no wires showing either in the car or in the boot.

I slightly amended the above from my original post, as the rear camera was a different one to the front, but I changed it for the A118C as I was more than happy with the front camera, and the “C” version was just the latest model.

Hope this helps
