Check out their website http://www.monster-tune.com/index.html under koch tuning boxes.

These guys have excellent service and readily answered all my questions via email. Their tuning box is having some demo price S$750 at the moment if you are keen haha.

They are going to be my first choice after installation of the exhaust. Im going the tuning box route for now to preserve warranty (not sure how reliable peugeot is so im not taking any chances) !

wooo.. does $750 include the "custom tune"?

Yup I'm going the tuning box route to preserve my warranty too.. but I suspect plugging in the box would be a pain, as one of the connectors seems to reside under the air filter box.
I would probably get the tuning box before the exhaust thou... I'll tell you how it goes!

@obicat yeah it does include the custom tune. If im not wrong 750 is the promo price so do contact them and let us know how it goes :) I will probably leave the tuning box in the car when going for servicing UNLESS i intend to claim warranty for something :p I highly doubt autofrance is gonna inspect my engine bay in great detail at each regular service and take note of mods done haha.

@RCZisnice now all you need to do is dyno the car ! Rough estimate what is the 0-100kmph timing now ?

Yup! called them already... Monster Tune tuning box for me estimated to increase power by 20hp and 50Nm.. abit more conservative than the other tuning boxes out there! maybe safer... will tell you after i jump on it.. haha

@obicat, wow those robson design CF stuff sure are ex :( I think im gonna save money for the bastuck exhaust, tuning box and maybe 19 inch rims + coilovers in the future !

If you are really into the CF look, maybe you can try DFM. I think they have glossy CF vinyl wrap (not the matt 3M one), may not look as good as robson's but definitely at a fraction of the price !

Another customisable tuning box you can consider is by Dr Hansonn. He is on the VAGSG forum but people seem to have difficulty contacting him at times.

haha ok yea its expensive.. but you get a real CF customized look and a good weight reduction for more HP! hahaha... 20kg reduction = 3HP more... for a mere $1500.. .hahahahahaha
thanks for the DFM recommend! but I am looking to get both the look and the weight reduction too.. =P

yea i just started reading the forums and already saw posts about Dr Hannson being hard to contact.. reading more now..

One advantage of the route you are intending to go down, with the CF roof is that the one that I have fitted by Peugeot is in addition to the original roof. So no weight reduction, but an increase.

Just test drove the RCZ in Singapore.

V nice ride.

Everythg is superb about the car... only the front is a bit of a turn off. The designers took so much trouble to design a great looking car but decided to keep the front almost the same as the older Pug models.

For those unaware of Singapore's car prices. Its obscene compared to the rest of the world. After a special promotion discount here, it still cost S$170k or approx USD135k for the 156HP auto model.

I thought mine was expensive at USD70k for the 200HP model...

How's RCZ selling in Singapore? Many?

I think there is no contest in terms of car prices. Singapore car prices is highest in the world. Our cars are a little under-used too since this is such a small country.

Anyway, to answer your question. RCZ not many here, along with other Peugeot models, are not popular in Singapore. I was told there are perhaps about 70-80 RCZs on Singapore roads now.

This is an interesting country where the highest selling makes here are not the cheaper Korean or Japanese marques. The top 3 selling brands are BMW, Mercedes Benz and Toyota in that order. Other conti makes Audi and VW make up the Top 5. Volvo is fast gaining popularity too.

The pugs are unfortunately way behind together with the likes of Ford and Citroen. RCZ looks to be a breakthrough and if the French can continue with this RCZ-style of car design, I am sure the tide will shift in their favor. The Italians have their awesome designs in Ferraris and Alfas. French had Coco Chanel and JPG in fashion but I think most would agree their car designs before RCZ were all less inspiring.

I like the RCZ and am still deciding whether to get one. Love the rear absolutely but find the front design very tired looking. Lazy designers perhaps?

If I buy it, it will be my second car as I have a family of 4. Going by Singapore car prices, to have a second car is a massive expenditure to commit. Still thinking.

A bit different from when I passed my driving test in Singapore in 1964, learned to drive in a Morris 1000, Singapore was full of them and Mercedes Taxis.

Oh God - my Mum had a Morris 1000. White one with a wood stripe down the side. The number plate was MOG 684F. Now that brings back a few memories.
No sorry - the Morris 1000 was a grey one - 461 LWL. Then we had a white Morris (don't know the model) after that.
